The international project was definitely the highlight during my trainee period, although I did have a lot of fun at the other locations. With projects in production, logistics, purchasing and sales, I was able to get acquainted with closely linked groups.
I became especially aware how all the parts of sales work together.
Many corporate processes interact with one another, and in order to control these, one needs a generalized view of the situation. This can only be achieved when one understands the interactions between departments and can think "out of the box." This opportunity was presented to me through the trainee program.
