ZF Environmental Symposium
In the year 2005, the ZF Environment Symposium has been taking place for the tenth time. The event promoted a dialogue between very different players in the field of environmental protection. The symposium provides a regular platform for scientists, political and administration representatives, customers, suppliers, media representatives, as well as representatives from the Board of Management, ZF Group, and ZF managers from Europe, America, Asia.
The one-day event focuses on current topics on environmental protection and new developments in environmental policy. At the same time, the symposium helps to present the ZF environmental protection work to the public and report on the implementation of targets set in the past.
Main emphasis was placed on environmental projects of different divisions, experts? presentations on the new German law concerning the energy industry, opportunities and risks regarding the trendsetting nanotechnology, as well as trendsetting strategies for climate protection.
Many executive staff members from the ZF divisions / business units participated in the Environmental Symposium, as well as numerous guests from the automotive supplier industry.
