Environmental Protection at ZF

Commercial activity and design will always have an impact on nature. Therefore, ZF bears special responsibility to protect the environment. Indeed ZF takes environmental protection issues always into consideration when taking business decisions.

The ZF Annual Report contains one chapter which reports on environmental protection exclusively and in detail.
Furthermore, along with the location data, the most important measures taken in the context of environmental protection as well as the environment-related data of the ZF production companies are published.

Also in 2006 actions worth mentioning in the context of corporate environmental protection were taken. Numerous improvement activities were carried out in the fields of air pollution control, water protection, waste management, and energy (consumption). In 2006, the expenses for lessening the burden on the environment amounted to a total of ? 46 million for investments and operational costs.
