Variable damping system

Adaption of the damping force to the situation at hand

The electronic system CDC continously monitors influences such as loading, road conditions, vehicle speed, and driver reactions.
Changes are detected by the vehicle sensor sytsem and the electronic controllers use the information to compute the optimal damping.
The damping force is adapted within milliseconds by means of an integrated or external valve.

Active Body Control ABC

The ABC shock-absorbing strut is equipped with an hydraulic cylinder in addition to the support spring and the vibration damper. Depending upon the situation given, the hydraulic cylinder changes the support spring's foot point so to maintain the stability of the vehicle's body.
