About 4,600 employees are working in Research and Development worldwide

The state of the art CAE software and hardware available accelerates worldwide development and production processes at ZF. The bases for cooperation among locations are the common standards for data exchange, coordinated training, and central support to accompany processes.

The main development centers are located in Friedrichshafen, Dielingen, Passau, Schweinfurt, Schwäbisch Gmünd, Plzeň/Czech Repubilc and another one in Detroit/Michigan/USA, that adapts ZF-products for American customers requirements.
