The market for commercial vehicles has become more global in recent years: With the economic boom of the emerging markets in the Far East and South America, there has been an enormous demand for trucks and buses. As a global Group, ZF is present in all markets – including China.

However, the demands on commercial vehicles are diverse, affecting their tasks as well as their areas of application. Regional conditions, such as climate and infrastructure, require specific developments. In order to tailor products to the regions, ZF is precisely studying and analyzing its markets. In collaboration with vehicle manufacturers, ZF develops and produces precise drive systems in line with the design-to-market principle.
