Clutch Actuation

Do you know that 90% of all clutch complaints result from faulty or worn components surrounding the clutch? Consequently, Sachs recommends that the clutch actuation system be regularly checked and replaced if necessary.

What exactly is a clutch actuation system?

The clutch actuation mechanism is one part of the complete clutch system. Generally, a system is involved here which transfers the pressure on the clutch pedal either mechanically of hydraulically to the release fork or to the release mechanism, thereby operating the clutch.

Irrespective of whether operation is hydraulic or via clutch cable, you always have the perfect link between the clutch pedal and the clutch, because Sachs systems guarantee:

  • Low pedal force
  • Friction-free clutch engagement
  • Well-proven OEM quality
