Engine mounts
Engine mounts optimize adequately stiffness characteristics of the engine-transmission unit in the chassis frame, occurring forces are absorbed, vibrations generated by the power unit are minimized and torque roll restriction is ensured over the whole engine speed range.
At the same time, the proper design of the rubber shape and development of rubber compounds with outstanding dynamic properties ensure a maximum of high-amplitude vibration isolation generated by engine shake and keep away unpleasant vibrations and roughnesses from the driver. Moreover, safety and comfort are optimized. For engine mounts with a very low compression set and constant durability characteristics particular rubber compounds have been developed to guarantee an excellent durability even at increased temperatures in the engine compartment a requirement which will gain more and more importance in future.
