The company logo, the Lemförder owl in a triangle stands worldwide for quality and safety in suspension and steering mechanisms of vehicles in any form.

Since the entrepreneur Dr. Jürgen Ulderup founded the firm, this logo has been inseparable from the company. Dr. Jürgen Ulderup carried the crest bird of his company more or less in his name: The lower German word „de Uul” (the owl) was the starting point for the design of the firm‘s logo.

Much has been written and told about the bird in the crest. Throughout history and in various cultures, the owl has always fascinated people with a kind of amazing power. Hardly any other type of bird or animal has been viewed in so many and often contradictory ways: Allusions about the owl can be traced back to the earliest folklore. From time immemorial, people have been fascinated with the nightly wanderings and the spiritual appearance of the owl. Owls have a firm place in folklore and the beautiful artistic work of most cultures.

The founder of the Lemförder, C.-P. Ulderup, just like his father and founder of the LFT, carried the owl in their name, as the lower German „Uul“ means nothing more than OWL.

The starting point for the design of the company logo was found.

The owl has been updated and revised over the years, yet the essential components, „owl in a triangle“, have remained throughout.
